Yacht Club salon is a training salon where we help YOU get your “masters degree” in hair and nails.

Our trainers are dedicated to growing our future teammates. Here, we elevate our industry, teach how to earn a better living, much faster, and pass along our knowledge to success. We strive to help new stylists plant their roots early to grow and have the confidence to love their craft!

Our full-time paid internship program, Called the Associate program, is designed for recent graduates with a Colorado Cosmetology license. During your time in the program you will learn how to provide a premium client experience by working HANDS-ON with one of our incredible educators. This one-to-one coaching and mentoring program will provide you with an incredible advantage when starting your career. Full time associates earn up to $30K per year, and have access to world-class technical classes and nationally renowned educators. In addition to the one-to-one coaching, associates also have weekly opportunity days to work on their own clientele and practice their skills.

THE DETAILS Driven by giving a great guest experience, and helping the team hit sales and service goals, our Support Staff is the backbone of our salon company.

Main performance expectations include: Happy and outgoing personality a must. Planning each day to have a happy and successful day, and team, by hitting goals. Striving to always give a consistent and amazing guest experience. Proper checking in and out of guests. Proper cash handling- Opening and closing the drawer. Making service, future reservation and retail offerings to our guests. Closing sales offerings. Managing all appointment reservations. Guest communication including- Emails, SMS and phone calls. Proper offering and serving of wine and beer to our guests 21 and older. Communication with staff, manager and owner regarding any guest issues that arise. Key holder. Some light cleaning and sanitation.

REQUIREMENTS Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have at least one year of sales or reception experience. High School graduate or equivalent. Excellent communication skills- Both written and verbal. Fast learner. Able to work under pressure. Must have reliable transportation. Flexible Schedule. Available on days, evenings and weekends.
